Applications
Products are used in water-based coatings such as water-based acrylic and polyurethane as adhesion promoters and cross-linking agents. Improve the bonding strength, water resistance, abrasion resistance, scrub resistance, scratch resistance and chemical resistance of the coating.
Can be added to polymer systems such as acrylic, polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resins to enhance the chemical resistance and weather resistance of coatings. It can be used in baking paint, coil steel paint and corrosion-resistant paint.
Especially suitable for mid-coating of automobile original paint, which can improve flexibility, impact resistance and adhesion; it can also be used as an additive to improve the mechanical properties and stone impact resistance of traditional baked coatings.
Recipe suggestions
Cross-linking agent UN-8196 is a polyisocyanate cross-linking agent that can react with amino and hydroxyl groups in polymers.
In most cases, the best effect can be obtained by reacting each mole of hydroxyl group with an equal mole of UN-8196.
The general addition amount is 1-5%. In some systems, it can be added to 10-30%. You can try it according to your needs.
The heat treatment temperature must be above 120℃, the maximum temperature is 160℃, and the cross-linking effect can usually be obtained in 20-30 minutes. Adding a certain amount of organotin catalyst can shorten the cross-linking time.
Storage packaging
Store at room temperature for 12 months.
