Characteristics
Highly safe water-soluble polymer, the reaction does not produce by-products
It can cross-link at temperatures above 80-100 °C to enhance its water resistance, solvent resistance, heat resistance and coating film strength.
It has a long pot life after being mixed with the main liquid resin. It is a single liquid cross-linking agent.
Has higher reactivity than water-based epoxy, melamine, and blocked NCO
Recommended use
Carboxyl-containing water-based resin cross-linking agent: water-based polyurethane, acrylic emulsion, water-soluble acrylic acid, water-based polyester, etc.;
Water-based cross-linking agents for paints, coatings, adhesives, etc.;
Surface treatment agents for fibers, films, etc.
Curing conditions
Typically, temperatures above 80-100°C are required, and typical curing conditions are as follows:
120 °C, 1-10 minutes (of course the higher the temperature, the shorter the time);
80-120°C, 5-30 minutes;
60-80°C, 30 minutes-four hours;
<60°C, 1-14 days
Neutralizer: It is best to use ammonia to adjust the pH value!
Use
Recommended dosage of cross-linking agent UN-300
Water-based acrylic emulsion system 0.5-2%,
Water-based polyurethane system 2-5%
Storage period
Store away from light and at room temperature for 12 months.
