Introduction and application of Hydrogen Removal Catalyst | Dehydrogen catalyst
Hydrogen removal catalyst (Dehydrogen catalyst) is made of modified high-purity alumina as carrier, using unique rare earth additives and precious platinum (Pt.) as an active component. With the function of the catalyst, a small amount of hydrogen and oxygen in the raw gas undergo a chemical reaction under certain temperature and pressure conditions to generate water, achieving high efficient removal of hydrogen.

Product application and features
Hydrogen removal catalyst / Dehydrogen catalyst is widely used for the removal of a small amount of hydrogen from carbon dioxide (CO2) rich gas. It makes the impurity H2 in the feed gas produce catalytic reaction to generate H2O and reach the effect of fine removal at low temperature.
Synthetic urea CO2 raw material gas generally contains 0.4 ~ 1.5% of hydrogen, and a certain amount of oxygen is added for the equipment anticorrosion. H2-O2 after high pressure washing is concentrated, in the case of static electricity, friction and other circumstances may explode, there have been malignant explosion accidents around the world. It is an effective measure to prevent explosion of urea plant to react hydrogen and oxygen in CO2 feed gas to produce water by catalytic combustion method.
DZC-P50 dehydrogen catalyst features high activity and good anti-toxicity. It also has high mechanical strength and good thermal stability. The comprehensive performance reaches and exceeds the CN-101 catalyst of Engelhard Company in some indexes. With the catalyst, the residual hydrogen in the end gas can be reduced to less than 50ppm, and the hidden danger of hydrogen and oxygen mixture explosion is fundamentally eliminated, which not only avoids explosion danger, but also reduces ammonia consumption, with significant social and economic benefits.
