Characteristics and uses
401 is an aromatic imine-type latent curing agent made from aromatic diamines and ketone-aldehyde compounds. It is a low-viscosity liquid at room temperature and has good compatibility with NCO-based polyurethane prepolymers. And can reduce the viscosity of room temperature curing polyurethane systems.
401 decomposes quickly when exposed to moisture, and the highly reactive amino groups generated quickly react with the isocyanate groups to solidify, leaving the moisture with no time to react with the isocyanate groups. This prevents the formation of pores due to the large amount of carbon dioxide gas not having time to escape in the adhesive layer.
401 is mainly recommended for use in one-component moisture-curing polyurethane coating systems, which can solve the foaming problem of polyurethane systems during moisture curing. It can also be used in room-temperature or medium-temperature solvent-free two-component polyurethane and other products. Main uses include: polyurethane waterproof coatings, anti-corrosion coatings, floor coatings, and solvent-free polyurethane adhesives.
401 latent curing agent product is an environmentally friendly product. It does not produce unpleasant odors during production and construction, has low VOC emissions, and gives the polyurethane cured product good mechanical properties.
It is recommended to conduct small tests in advance to determine the appropriate dosage and storage stability in the one-component polyurethane system.

Save
This product is sensitive to water and will decompose quickly when exposed to moisture (water). It should be stored in a sealed, dry, well-ventilated, and dark place.
Please store unused products in a sealed container filled with nitrogen to prevent the product from getting damp.
Shelf life is 6 months. If the sealed storage exceeds the shelf life as required, it can still be used after passing the inspection of the main application indicators.
