Application


 

Agricultural silicone additive is a low molecular weight silicone polyether nonionic surfactant used to improve the wetting, dispersing and penetration properties of pesticides, especially water-based broadleaf herbicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators performance.

 

Performance characteristics


 

Significantly lowers the surface tension of aqueous pesticide mixtures to levels far below what traditional non-ionic surfactants can achieve. At a low concentration of 0.01%, the surface tension can be reduced to less than 23 dynes/cm, achieving extremely fast wetting and dispersion on difficult-to-wet surfaces such as the waxy layer of leaves, thereby enabling herbicides and pesticides to , fungicides and other pesticides to achieve complete coverage. In addition to rapid wetting and dispersion, superwetting agents greatly improve pesticide uptake by plant tissues. Adding a wetting agent to the herbicide tank mix can significantly improve wetting efficiency, especially when using water-soluble herbicides for broadleaf grass control. Rapid uptake creates "rain tolerance"-because the herbicide has penetrated the plant's internal tissues, it is not washed away by rain.

 

Instructions


 

It is used for direct addition in pesticide preparations and can be used as direct addition components for formula preparations. It has stable performance in neutral aqueous formulations (pH=7), but will degrade rapidly in acidic or alkaline formulations. Super wetting agents can be mixed before use to enhance the biological properties of the spray fluid. The dosage of herbicide can be kept at 3-15 grams per 15 kg of spray solution. For fungicides, use 2 to 8 grams per 15 kg of spray solution, and for insecticides, use 3 to 15 grams per 15 kg of spray solution. Trials should be carried out first on a small area to ensure that no damage is caused to crops. This additive should be used according to the recommendations on the manufacturer's label.
