PLDL is a medical-grade polymer biomaterial with the chemical name Poly(L-Lactide-co-D,L-Lactide), abbreviated as PLDL or P(L-LA-co-D,L-LA). It is formed by the polymerization of left-handed and racemic lactide, and belongs to the degradable polyester family.
