Polylactic acid-hydroxyapatite (PLA-HAp) is a highly performing biocomposite material. It is prepared by using the super-dispersive technology from polylactic acid (PLA) and hydroxyapatite (HA). It has good biocompatibility. After degradation in the body, the product is metabolized and excreted from the body, without any harm or toxic side effects to the human body. It has good osteogenic properties. Therefore, it is currently widely used in the medical field, such as tissue engineering scaffolds, bone fixation and bone repair materials, implants, and elastic materials for supporting animal organs.
