FK-5-1-12 Like other halocarbon halon alternatives, extinguishes fires primarily by removing heat from the fire. After exhaust,FK-5-1-12 fluid forms a gaseous mixture with air. The heat capacity of this reagent/air mixture is much greater than the heat capacity of air alone. A higher heat capacity means that the gas mixture will absorb more energy (heat) with each degree of temperature change it experiences. At system design concentrations, the agent/air mixture absorbs sufficient heat to destroy the conditions required for combustion to occur. Heat loss from the fire to the surrounding environment increases due to the presence of extinguishing agents. This causes the burning zone to cool to the point where the fire is extinguished.

1.FK-5-1-12 is a green, environmentally friendly, efficient and clean fire extinguishing agent that can be widely used in fire extinguishing systems and portable fire extinguishers in various regions or local areas. It is especially suitable for electronic control centers, computer rooms, transformer rooms, and power distribution. Fire protection in cabinets, wind turbine rooms, energy storage power stations, high-precision instruments, museums, data processing centers, ship control rooms, new energy vehicle lithium battery protection and other occasions.

2. It can be used as a coolant for electronic equipment and a protective gas for light metal smelting. It can also be used to replace sulfur hexafluoride for transformer protection.
