Sodium pyrosulfate is a solid catalyst that is used in anhydrous sodium production, sodium salts, phosphorus pentoxide, carbon disulphide, polyvinyl chloride production, wastewater treatment, and inorganic acid production. It can also be used to decompose hydrogen fluoride.
