Standard processing procedures


 

Surface cleaning → roughening → cleaning and blowing → methylvinylsilazane treatment → curing

 

Process description


 

1. Roughing treatment: Before applying silazane, grind or sandblast the surface of the substrate to remove rust, dust, dirt, etc. attached to the surface of the object to be treated. The roughening treatment has a great influence on the coating effect. The best is Sa2.5 and the minimum is St3 without scale (GB/T 30790.4-2014), so please pay full attention.

 

2. Cleaning: Use special cleaning agent or degreasing agent to remove oil, dust, etc. remaining on the roughened surface.

 

3. Dry the substrate: Before applying silazane, make sure the surface of the substrate is dry and clean.

 

4. Paint mixing: This product is a single component. Shake it thoroughly before use and filter it with 400 mesh for later use.

 

5. Paint application: The laboratory spraying method of 0.5-1.0 caliber spray gun has better appearance and uniformity.

 

6. Curing: After spraying, let the surface dry for 10 minutes, then keep and cure at 180°C for 30 minutes (the coating is used below 400°C), or 250°C for 30 minutes (when the coating is used above 400°C).

 

Storage and transportation



1. It must be stored in accordance with national regulations. The storage environment should be dry, cool, well ventilated, and away from heat and fire sources. Packaging containers must be kept tightly closed and stored with care.

 

2. The storage temperature should be between 5℃ and 30℃, and the storage period is 6 months.

 

3. Unused paint must be stored with the lid closed and sealed.

 

4. The prepared unused paint cannot be recycled and should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

 

5. Products that have exceeded the shelf life can only be used after passing the test.
