Product introduction
Polyvinylamine is a water-soluble highly cationic polymer. It is hygroscopic, soluble in water, ethanol, and insoluble in benzene. Its aqueous solution is positive and will gel in the presence of acid. Polyvinylamine has high reactivity and can react with the hydroxyl groups in cellulose and cross-link and polymerize, making the paper produce wet strength and dry reinforcement. The presence of any acid, alkali and aluminum sulfate will affect its wet strength and retention. It is mainly used as a wet strength agent for unsized absorbent paper (such as filter paper, blotting paper, toilet paper, etc.), but its damaged paper is difficult to deal with. In addition, it can speed up the filtration of paper pulp and make the fine fibers in white water easy to flocculate. It has strong binding force to acid dyes and can be used as a fixing agent when dyeing paper with acid dyes. It can also be used to treat cellophane to reduce wet deformation of the paper. Polyvinylamine can also be used for fiber modification, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, ion exchange resins, and coagulation and sedimentation (metal capture, wastewater treatment), etc.

Function
High adhesion and adsorption
The amine group can react with the hydroxyl group to form a hydrogen bond, the amine group can react with the carboxyl group to form an ionic bond, and the amine group can also react with the carbonyl group to form a covalent bond. At the same time, due to its polar group (amine group) and hydrophobic group (vinyl) structure, it can be combined with different substances. Utilizing these comprehensive binding forces, it can be widely used in adhesives, inks, coatings, adhesives and other fields.
High cationicity
It exists in the form of polycation in water and can neutralize and adsorb all anionic substances. It can also chelate heavy metal ions. Utilizing its high degree of cationicity, it can be used in papermaking, water treatment, electroplating solutions, dispersants and other fields.
Highly reactive
Being highly reactive, it reacts easily with epoxies, aldehydes, isocyanate compounds and acidic gases. Utilizing this reaction characteristic, it can be used as an epoxy resin modifier, aldehyde adsorbent and dye fixative.
Storage
Store in a dry place at room temperature!
