Properties
Yellow transparent liquid, with excellent oil solubility, excellent antioxidant properties, inhibiting copper corrosion and metal deactivation. It can form an inert protective film on the metal surface or form chelates with metal ions, thus inhibiting the metal or other metals. The catalytic effect of ions on oil oxidation; however, T551 is very alkaline, so avoid direct contact with acidic additives during the oil conditioning process. At the same time, avoid contact with ZDDP and other additives to prevent reactions.
Purpose
