Introduction and application of CAS 9003-27-4 | Polyisobutylene
1. Polyisobutylene is polymerized from isobutylene. According to different molecular weights, it is divided into low molecular weight polyisobutylene, medium molecular weight polyisobutylene, and high molecular weight polyisobutylene. According to the terminal vinyl mole fraction, it is divided into low activity polyisobutylene and high activity polyisobutylene.
2. Highly active polyisobutylene products with an average relative molecular weight of 500~5000 and an alpha olefin content higher than 80%. Has higher reactivity.
3. The high-activity polyisobutylene thermal addition method is used to produce alkenyl succinimide ashless dispersant. No chlorine is used during the production process. This process route is safe and environmentally friendly, and greatly reduces environmental pollution.
Application:
1 Lubricating oil additives are widely used in lubricating oil ashless dispersants. Ashless dispersants are produced using a thermal addition process during the production process. Compared with the products produced by chlorination method, it has better oxidation resistance and dispersion.
2 Adhesive: Mainly used as pressure-sensitive adhesive tackifier and self-adhesive adhesive. Such as packaging bags, insulation tapes, high-quality sealants, and sealing strips. It is widely used in plastic modified films in construction, vehicles and refrigerators.
3. Electrical insulation materials and protective films. It can be used as insulating oil for electrical equipment, cable materials and capacitor oil. It can be blended with paraffin and asphalt to form moisture-proof sealing material for induction coils.
4 Polymer modification: Polyisobutylene is miscible with other materials to make a variety of waterproof sealing films, such as protective films applied to the top of cars, waterproof sealants in the construction industry, and roof waterproof sealing layers.
