Introduction and application of CAS9003-55-8| Styrene Butadiene Rubber
Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), also known as polystyrene butadiene copolymer. Its physical structure performance, processing performance and product use performance are close to natural rubber. Some properties such as wear resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance and vulcanization speed are better than natural rubber.
It can be used with natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. Widely used in tires, tapes, hoses, wires and cables, medical appliances and various rubber products

| Further Comments This is the highest volume general purpose synthetic rubber. It is very weak unless reinforcing fillers are incorporated. With suitable fillers, it is a strong rubber, although not approaching natural rubber or polychloroprene. Otherwise, it has similar chemical and physical properties to natural rubber, with generally better abrasion resistance but poorer fatigue resistance. |

| Features | General-purpose contaminated soft styrene-butadiene rubber and raw rubber have excellent adhesion and processing properties, while vulcanized rubber has good wear resistance, tensile strength, tear strength and aging resistance. | General-purpose non-polluting soft styrene-butadiene rubber with good tensile strength, abrasion resistance and flexural properties. | The contaminated soft styrene-butadiene rubber filled with high aromatic oil has excellent adhesion, mold resistance and processing performance. | It has large shrinkage rate, fast relaxation, high set elongation, low elongation at break, and good mixing process performance. | |
| Product Usage | It is used for products that use carbon black as reinforcing agent and have low color requirements, such as tire treads, retreads, conveyor belts, hoses, membrane products, and extruded products. | Used for brightly colored and light-colored rubber products such as tire sides, transparent rubber shoes, tape, medical products and other general colored products. | Used for passenger car tire tread rubber, retread tread rubber, conveyor belts, hoses, etc. Made of black rubber. | Used in tire production. Relying on styrene-butadiene rubber, a large number of rubber products (conveyor belts, profiles, molded parts, etc.), insulated cables, footwear and sporting goods can be produced. | |
