Sulfided isobutylene is mainly used in two directions: one is used as an extreme pressure agent (T321) in gear oil, and the other is used as a sulfurizing agent (GDS56) for adding catalysts in the petroleum refining industry.

In the petroleum refining industry, the active metal components in the aeration catalyst will combine with sulfur during the reaction process, and desulfurization is used to recycle the catalyst. Phosphating isobutylene reacts with sulfur in the catalyst to remove it from the catalyst, thus restoring activity to the catalyst. The specific indicators of its product GDS56 are as follows.

Purpose
This product has good extreme pressure activity and strong anti-sintering ability, and can prevent tooth surface damage under high-speed impact load conditions; it decomposes at high temperatures on the friction surface, and the decomposition products react with the metal surface to form a chemical reaction film to prevent the metal surface from being damaged. Direct contact can reduce the chance of scratches and gluing; it has excellent solubility in mineral oil and synthetic oil, and will not precipitate during long-term storage.

Store in a dry, clean and ventilated warehouse.
