Vinyl Polysilazane TC-P11

Product Introduction

Vinyl polysilazane TC-P11 is an ultra-high molecular weight solid ceramic precursor polymer composed of repeating Si-N units. It can be used both as a thermosetting resin and as a ceramic precursor. It can be cracked under relatively mild conditions to obtain ceramic products with excellent temperature resistance. Compared with most polysilazane on the market, this type of polysilazane has a higher molecular weight, and the cured product formed has better toughness.

Instructions

TC-P11 will soften or melt at around 100°C and turn into a liquid when heated to around 150°C.

Polysilazane TC-P11 can be diluted with various polar or non-polar dry solvents. However, it is sensitive to water and alcohol solvents. Once in contact, hydrolysis or alcoholysis reaction will occur, causing the product to deteriorate. Additionally, contact with protic-type substances should be avoided. TC-P11 can be baked at 200°C for 1 hour to achieve cross-linking and solidification. If the temperature continues to rise (5°C/min heating rate) to 800°C for 40 minutes, amorphous ceramics can be formed.

The composition of ceramic products is closely related to the cracking atmosphere. Under nitrogen or argon, it is SiC and Si3N4; under ammonia atmosphere, it is mainly Si3N4; under air conditions, it is mainly SiOCN. In addition, the cracking of the cured product is easily affected by fillers and affects the composition of the final ceramic product.

After use, quickly wipe and clean the tool with solvent oil. Once TC-P11 is cured, the solvent cannot be washed away. If it needs to be cured, it needs to be soaked and heated in a 40% strong alkaline solution for more than 24 hours.

Storage

1. The product needs to be sealed and stored in a cool (0-5℃) dry place and should not be exposed to open flames.

2. It can be stored in the original unopened packaging for 12 months.

3. Products that have been opened for use need to be re-sealed and stored. If there is no precipitation or agglomeration after dissolution, you can continue to use it.
