Products Description
Introduction and application of CAS:65997-13-9|Resin acids and Rosin acids, hydrogenated, esters with glycerol
Medium hard, light amber glassy solid resin. No peculiar smell, bitter taste. Soluble in acetone and benzene, insoluble in water and ethanol. Hydrogenated (or partially hydrogenated) rosin glyceride not only overcomes the bitter taste of unhydrogenated rosin glyceride, but also reduces the amount of oxygen absorption, giving it good antioxidant stability, thereby extending the shelf life of the finished product. For example, under the same conditions of 2.1MPa pressure and 25℃, the weight gain (oxygen uptake %) after being kept in oxygen for 168h; rosin is 9.1, rosin glyceride is 5.1, hydrogenated rosin is 0.2, and hydrogenated rosin glyceride is 0.1 . Gums made with hydrogenated rosin glyceride will retain their taste and remain soft and delicate after long-term storage (within two years), while those made with rosin glyceride will taste bitter and hard after 3 to 4 months. .
Usage gum chewing material; emulsifier. Used in the manufacture of various adhesives
