Introduction and application of CAS:24981-14-4 | POLY(VINYL FLUORIDE)
Polyvinyl fluoride is a white powdery partially crystalline polymer. Its melting point is 190-200℃, its decomposition temperature is above 210℃, and its long-term use temperature is -100-150℃. PVF is a homopolymer of vinyl fluoride with a molecular weight of 60,000 to 180,000. It is the fluoroplastic with the lowest fluorine content, the smallest specific gravity, and the cheapest price.
In the chemical industry, it is used to make anti-corrosion coatings, linings, gaskets, shaft oil pipe coatings and high-performance electrolytic cell diaphragms. In the construction industry, it is used to make roof and wall decoration materials. It can also be used to make capacitor films, external protective layers of submarine power plants, salt spray-resistant electrical instrument parts coatings, agricultural films, sprayer coatings and surface coatings of various food packaging containers.
