Cinnamyl Isovalerate is a chemical that belongs to the group of isovaleric acid. It is a colorless liquid with a characteristic odor. This chemical has been shown to be an effective cross-linking agent for the production of epoxy resins and polyurethanes, as well as being a potent inducer in vitro of cancer cell growth. Cinnamyl Isovalerate has also been shown to inhibit the activity of human lung fibroblasts by inhibiting protein synthesis and DNA synthesis, which may be due to its acidic properties.
