3'-Aminoacetanilide is a reactive intermediate that can be synthesized by the reaction of acetanilide with sodium cyanurate in the presence of hydrochloric acid. It contains a hydroxyl group and an amide group. 3'-Aminoacetanilide is used as a raw material for the synthesis of diazonium salts, which are intermediates for the production of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
