2, 3-butanediol reacts with acetic acid for 2h at 140-150℃ with sulfuric acid as catalyst to produce 2, 3-butanediol diacetate, which can be added to cream, and can also be used as a hygroscopic agent, plasticizer and coupling agent. 2, 3-butanediol is also used as a solvent and a raw material for synthetic resins. |
