3-Phenylpyridin-2-ol is a fungicide and insecticide that is used in agriculture. It is the active ingredient in a number of products including Actellic, Azatin, Cymbush, Cymbush Extra, and Pirex.

3-Phenylpyridin-2-ol has been shown to be effective against a number of pests including aphids, thrips, mites, and whiteflies. 3-Phenylpyridin-2-ol has also been shown to have antiinflammatory properties by blocking prostaglandin synthesis.
