Introduction and application of CAS: 79953-85-8 | Pigment yellow 128
Pigment Yellow 128 is a pure and very green transparent yellow pigment. It is the second strongest green light yellow in the azo condensation category, second only to Pigment Yellow 94.
The tinting strength is medium, and only 1.35% pigment is needed when blending with 5% titanium dioxide into 1/3 standard depth soft PVC.
The distinctive features of Pigment 128 are excellent light and weather resistance, excellent solvent resistance, and excellent transparency. Can meet the requirements of being exposed outdoors for a long time
It is mainly used for PVC coloring in plastics and will not migrate. Its light fastness is level 7~8 (1/3SD), which is especially recommended for outdoor use.
It can withstand 250℃/5min in HDPE and has little impact on the warpage of the plastic.
Excellent resistance when used in polyolefin spinning
Can be used for polyacrylonitrile puree coloring
Complies with French FRL and Chinese GB9685-2008 food contact standards, and can replace chrome yellow, cadmium yellow and benzidine yellow in the food and toy industries
Used in high-end industrial coatings, (OEM) automotive coatings, architectural coatings and latex paints
