Paint defoamer AC-2052 is EFKA® PB 2020 alternatices, paint defoamer AC-2052 is a silicone-free foam-breaking polymer solution. It is used as a standard defoamer in solvent-based paints and inks. It can effectively prevent the generation of bubbles and foam during the production, packaging and construction of paints and inks. It has the following characteristics: fast defoaming, anti-foaming, good versatility, light color, and safe recoating.

Application Scope

It has excellent performance in the following paint systems: industrial paint, automotive paint, architectural paint, wood paint. It can also be used in can and coil coatings.

Recommended dosage

In order to obtain a sufficient defoaming effect, it is recommended to add defoamer LD-2052 during the grinding process, with a dosage of 0.1-0.5% of the total amount. Due to its strong immiscibility, the effect on the transparency and shrinkage of the varnish system must be evaluated.
