Polyacrylic acid resin II is an anionic methacrylic acid copolymer that is insoluble in gastric juice but only soluble in intestinal juice. It is mainly used as a film coating material for oral tablets and capsules. It can also be used in the skeleton layer of transdermal drug delivery systems and a new gel matrix for rectal drug delivery preparations.

This product is a pharmaceutical excipient. It is an enteric coating material.
Properties: This product is a white strip or powdery solid substance. It dissolves in warm ethanol. It is insoluble in ether and water.
Use: This product is mainly used as a coating material for Chinese and Western medicine tablets, pills, granules and other enteric drugs. Or as a film-forming agent for enteric capsules and microcapsules, it can also be used as a sustained-release agent for preparations. This product can be mixed with polyacrylic acid resin II in different proportions to obtain enteric coating materials with different solubility properties.
