Introduction and application of CAS 88-41-5 | O-Tert-Butylcyclohexyl Acetate

O-Tert-Butylcyclohexyl Acetate (Verdox) is a detergent composition that contains fatty acids and polycarboxylic acids. This product dissolves in water and can be used as a reaction solution for the production of microcapsules. Verdox also reacts with glycol ethers to form cyclohexane rings and anhydrous sodium acylates unsaturated alkyl groups to form propionates.

The analytical method for this product is based on the phosphotungstic acid (PTA) test, which is commonly used to determine the presence of cyclohexane rings in organic compounds.
