Disodium 4-dodecyl-2,4'-oxydibenzenesulfonate is used as emulsion polymerization emulsifier, suitable for acrylic acid and vinyl acetate. Polymerization of styrene and butadiene, acrylonitrile and butadiene-styrene. It can also be used as a levelling agent for nylon fibers. Used as wetting agent, coupling agent and stabilizer in detergents. It is used as a defogging agent in copper electrolytic cell and dehydration process.
