QAS-1260 quaternary ammonium salt-18 bentonite rheology additive is an easily dispersible self-activating organic ammonium modified smectite organoclay with excellent dispersion, thixotropy and suspension. In medium-high polarity solvent systems such as esters (such as butyl acetate), ketones (such as cyclohexanone), butanol, etc., it can be self-activated and dispersed without adding activators. In fats such as vegetable oil, white oil (mineral alcohol), etc. An activator needs to be added to the hydrocarbon low-polarity solvent system to aid dispersion (activator such as 95% ethanol, 30-40% of the weight of the organic soil). The heavy metal and microbial contents were lower than the National Cosmetic Safety Technical Standards (2015).
