Potassium 3-sulphonatopropyl acrylate is a polymer that has been synthesized for use in coatings. It is a test compound for the study of nucleobases and polymeric matrix crosslinking. This polymer consists of monomers and can be crosslinked by ammonium persulfate, trimethylammonium chloride, and aluminium. The proton resistant polymer is deformed by deionized water or strain, but is not deformed by constant force.
