Characteristics and uses

DMD230 is an aspartate ester containing two secondary amino groups. It is recommended for spray application of polyurea or polyaspartate coatings formulated as solvent-free or high solids two-component coatings. Compared with the primary amino raw materials used for ordinary spray polyurea, DMD230 has a moderate reaction speed and good operating performance. It can be machine-coated or brush-coated, and can be coated thickly, which improves construction efficiency. The obtained aliphatic coating film has good gloss and appearance, good flexibility and mechanical properties, resistance to light yellowing, good corrosion resistance and weather resistance.

The polyaspartate polyurea coating formulated with this product and aliphatic polyisocyanate (such as HDI trimer) is particularly suitable for decorative topcoats of conventional spray polyurethane urea elastomer coatings, such as anti-corrosion coatings for bridges and outdoor buildings. Layer decoration, long-term protection of concrete and other fields; also suitable for high-end applications such as furniture topcoat, industrial factory floors and sports venue floors, and road marking paint preparation, protective coatings for wind turbine blades, helicopter composite skin coatings, etc. field.

Store in a cool and dry condition, away from sources of fire, strong acids, strong alkali and strong oxidants.
Subject to compliance with specified transportation and storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months from the date of production. If the storage exceeds the shelf life, it can still be used after passing the inspection of the main application indicators.
