Glycerol formal is a colorless, transparent and viscous liquid. As a solvent for veterinary drugs, it can improve drug stability, increase drug solubility, reduce drug residues and enhance drug efficacy. It has become a substitute for propylene glycol, pyrrolidone and glycerol in veterinary injections.
