AC-3137 is DOWSIL™ TC-6020 alternatives, AC-3137 is a bis-aminosilane compound. This product is alkaline. It is especially suitable for vinyl resin paint, epoxy resin paint, and polyurethane resin paint. It can significantly improve the adhesion of the paint to the coating surface and prevent difficult-to-stick paints. Painted metals such as steel, copper, zinc, etc. are particularly effective. Compared with LD-3127, it has high activity and can give glass fiber and glass wool a softer feel and higher bending strength.

The main purpose
It can be used as an additive in many bonding processes without the need for special coatings. When using AC-3137, the following systems can show better bonding strength.
RTV silicones and hybrid silane cross-linking sealants: AC-3137 plus one- and two-component silane cross-linking sealants improve adhesion to a variety of substrates, including glass, steel, aluminum and concrete. When used as a silylated polyurethane polymer, using SPURSM technology, this silane can significantly improve the adhesion to a range of plastics.
Polysulfide sealant: With the addition of single and two-component polysulfide sealants, AC-3137 provides good adhesion to a variety of substrates, including glass, aluminum and steel. The general dosage of AC-3137 is 0.5-1.0% of the weight of the sealant. The product disperses well and results in cohesive cracking rather than interfacial cracking. In addition, using AC-3137 eliminates the need for primers that promote adhesion between the coating and the coating surface.
Plastic paste sealant: When dealing with plastic paste sealant (0.5-1%) AC-3137 is used as an adhesive, which can replace polyurethane compounds to improve the adhesion to the metal matrix. In addition to increased strength, silane-modified plastic paste sealants have a better appearance than those bonded with polyurethane nylon. The plastic paste modified by AC-3137 is very light in color and has no bubbles after curing.
As an additive to phenolic and epoxy molding compounds: AC-3137 can be used as an additive to phenolic and epoxy molding compounds to reduce water absorption in molded composites. Therefore, the wet electrical performance of the product can be improved, especially at low frequencies. Strength at high temperatures is also improved.
