Introduction and application of CAS 29700-22-9 | Oxyresveratrol
Oxyresveratrol is a stilbenoid. It is found in the heartwood of Artocarpus lakoocha and in the traditional drug 'Puag-Haad' made from it. It is also the aglycone of mulberroside A, a compound found in Morus alba, the white mulberry.
Oxyresveratrol is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor.
Oxyresveratrol (Tetrahydroxystilbene, 2,3',4,5'-tetrahydroxystilbene) is a natural compound discovered from Morus alba L.
It has an effective inhibitory effect on the dopa oxidase activity of tyrosinase and can catalyze the rate-limiting step of melanin biosynthesis.
Uses: Used for content determination/identification/pharmacological experiments, etc.
