Application of CAS: 1312-76-1 | Potassium silicate：
Used in the manufacture of welding electrode, welding electrode, VAT dye and fire retardant. Used as phosphor binder and soap filler for fluorescent screen.

Uses: Widely used in anti-corrosion, casting, oil fields, drilling or various coatings; in anti-corrosion applications, it is mainly used as an adhesive for various anti-corrosion industries that are acid-resistant, heat-resistant and wear-resistant, and is made into acid-resistant and heat-resistant materials. According to different uses, it can be made into potassium silicate (KP1) mortar, potassium silicate (KP1) mortar, and potassium silicate (KP1) concrete. It has the advantages of high mechanical strength, high bonding force, good acid resistance (see Appendix 1 for details), and good heat resistance. It is corrosion-resistant in alkaline media, fluorine-containing media, neutral salt solutions and higher fatty acids, solidifies at room temperature, is simple to construct, has a long service life, and has the advantages of high heat resistance, low porosity, and high impermeability and water resistance. High modulus potassium silicate is mainly used as an adhesive in high-grade coatings.

Produced by one-step dissolution of elemental silicon, it has high purity and a modulus of 4.8-8.0.
