Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate is a very gentle surfactant that is based on the natural amino acid L-Alanine. This anionic amino acid surfactant is made from L-Alanine and coconut oil fatty acid. Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate has good foaming properties, especially in neutral and weakly acidic conditions.
It produces a rich, creamy foam. In combination with cationic polymers it can be a great conditioner, giving a perfect hair/skin feel. Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate is a good moisturizer and has 30% solid content and 5% sodium chloride.
