Synthesis method A method for synthesizing piperonol through catalytic hydrogenation, which is characterized in that it includes the following steps: 1. Add piperonal solution and Raney nickel into the hydrogenation reaction kettle, wherein the mass ratio of piperonal and Raney nickel is 1 (0.01~1), pass in inert gas to replace the air in the hydrogenation reactor; 2. Pass in hydrogen and raise the temperature to 30~150°C to perform catalytic hydrogenation reaction. The hydrogen pressure is 0.5~5MPa. After the reaction is completed, filter and recover the thunder. Nickel, the filtrate is distilled under reduced pressure to obtain the recovered solvent and crude piperonol.
