Introduction and application of CAS No.17670-06-3 | Delphinidin 3,5-diglucoside
Delphinidin 3,5-diglucoside is a reaction product of the interspecific cross between the two plants, Granatum and Rotundifolia. The molecule is a substrate for binding with cinnamic acid derivatives in mouse tumor cells.
It has been shown that delphinidin 3,5-diglucoside can be demethylated to produce the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF-alpha and IL-8. This compound also has high values in fatty acids and chloride, which are associated with anti-inflammatory activity. Delphinidin 3,5-diglucoside is also an organic acid that has been shown to have potential anti-cancer effects in mice.
